It’s well over a month since four undergraduates from the University of Port Hacourt students were slaughtered by some residents of Aluu Community in River State.
Already, a movie has been shot over the homicide and will be released very soon.
Tentatively titled ‘ALUU4‘, NET gathered that the movie was produced by Simony Productions, the marketers who brought the movie, ‘Blackberry Babes‘.
The purpose of the movie according to the producers is to bring to the limelight the gruesome killing of the four students Tekena Elkanah, Chidiaka Biringa, Ugonna Ibuzor and Llyod Michael.
Opinions are divided on the motive and
timing of the project, with many concerned the producers may be all
about milking it while it’s hot. And pundits say it’s only when the
first cut has been seen, and when producers explain plans for commercial
proceeds and associated benefits, that proper analyses can come
forward.
It is uncertain if they have the blessings of the ALUU4 families.
